ONE STOP SHOP

HDL have planned for future growth in the industry and have a specialised area in the workshop for auto electrics. This will enable HDL to become the ‘one stop shop’ for all heavy vehicle services in the South Waikato.

14,000 VEHICLES

HDL is strategically located in the heart of the forestry industry and on SH1 which sees 14,000 vehicles per day.  This could encourage future developments such as a full-service Truck Stop.

BACKGROUND

HDL have planned for future growth in the industry and have a specialised area in the workshop for auto electrics. This will enable HDL to become the ‘one stop shop’ for all heavy vehicle services in the South Waikato.  In becoming an NZTA certified Certificate Of Fitness (COF) workshop and a Kenworth, DAF and Fuso truck parts and service provider, HDL are able to grow the business and keep customers spending locally rather than further afield.

HDL have agreements with local firms that operate those types of vehicles including RJ Lincoln, Alan Forbes, Farmers Transport, Big Chill and Rob Damms so far to do their vehicle servicing.  This will save these companies precious time and cost as previously they had to travel/wait to Rotorua or Hamilton.

Alex Limbrick says: “Its been an incredibly stressful move with me having to take on additional unforeseen costs at a time which really tested my resources.  I’ve been amazed at the support from local businesses in particular the forward bookings that we have for the COF facility”.
